Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our client's team in the construction industry. As the Business Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our client's operations, including Buying and Procurement functions.

Location and Hours:
Location: Pontypridd
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours
Holidays and Benefits:
26 days + Bank Holidays, performance-based bonus, training and progression opportunities, free on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support buying and procurement functions within the business.
* Maintain and develop supplier network, including establishing new supplier relationships.
* Negotiate pricing and lead times to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
* Forecast product needs and understand market demands.
* Maintain real-time records on systems.
* Provide purchasing administration support, such as raising Purchase Orders.
* Liaise with on-site team members regarding product needs.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date files, records, and databases.
* Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects and tasks on time.
* Assist with budgeting and cost tracking.
* Provide administrative support to business managers.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office coordinator, or similar role preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
