The Role:
Are you a skilled Electrician who has experience carrying out commissioning and maintenance tasks in the electricity supply industry? Or perhaps you are a New Zealand registered Electrician who is looking to get into the electricity supply industry with some on-the-job training provided by us? This may be the job for you!
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our Technical Services team on a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent basis. You will conduct, install and maintain network structures and equipment which means you will need to be comfortable understanding work plans, occasionally working at heights and carrying out reactive work.
Got what it takes?
* Current EWRB Registration as an Electrician and a practising licence.
* Proven electrical maintenance and diagnostic skills.
* Ability to adapt to reactive work and think clearly under pressure with excellent problem solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team operating in a fast-paced environment.
* Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence.
* Be living or intending to relocate to live within the Ashburton District.
