You will be responsible for delivery of all facets of the program from intake to exit, requiring you to build relationships within the community, partner organisations, employers and SVDP staff, and support your participants through a strengths-based approach. Educations Serivces aspires to transform the lives of people in need through our training and education programs. The program provides the opportunity for unemployed participants to undertake the Education and Training Project - Pathways to Retail Skills, with each person supported through case management and delivery of accredited and skills-based workshops. This project supports 16 retail trainees through an 18-week traineeship within one of our Vinnies Gold Coast stores. As the Case Worker, you will work with each participant through individualised case management and coordination and delivery of accredited and skills-based workshops. Working alongside our Registered Training Organisation and Retail team, you'll be assisting companions from SVDP programs and conferences who are experiencing complex barriers to develop current work experience and skills as a pathway to employment. This contract-based role works 22.8 hours (3 days) per week until project delivery mid-February 2026 and will be based in our Southport Programs Office. Please note you may be required to work flexible hours to facilitate the program and objectives. Skills And Experiences About You To be successful in your application, you will have: Bachelor's degree in human or community services with minumum 1 year experience, or alternative qualifications in the field of human or community services with substantial relevant experience. Professional background in providing direct, practical assistance to individuals through funded training or traineeships is considered highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in managing competing demands with limited direction and liaising with colleagues and partners for effective service delivery. Experience designing and delivering workshops to small groups on a range of subject matter influences by labour market trends and barriers facing individuals seeking employment. Demonstrated ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, and develop effective relationships with potential employers, training organisations, and community partners. Strong administrative skills to develop workflows and maintain communications and evidence utilising M365 applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to create effective mentoring relationships to motivate a diverse range of individuals. Class "C" Driver's Licence. Ready to apply?
