EMPLOYEE BENEFITS CONSULTANT / GROUP RISK CONSULTANT
Location: Rural Sittingbourne - on site during 3 month probation, then hybrid (3 days office: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).

Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Group Risk & Employee Benefits, you will take responsibility for managing Employee Benefit schemes for employers and their employees, using your in-depth knowledge of Life Insurance, Private Healthcare, and Critical Illness products to build trust.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in a similar role or as a product expert within an Insurance product provider.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Conduct market review exercises for Group Risk and Healthcare policies.
* Liaise with clients to gather relevant information on new employees.
* Process annual accounts for scheme renewals, checking and issuing accounts to employers for payment.
* Support clients with queries on their schemes or potential schemes, including answering employer and member questions, keeping systems updated with new queries and outcomes.
* Maintain current knowledge of issues and hot topics in the Group Risk & Healthcare sector.
* Liaise with product providers to ensure you have the most relevant information on their overall proposition.
* Communicate with existing and former clients, providers, and advisers via e-mail, letter, and phone.
* Obtain, check, and issue invoices (PMI, GLA, GIP, Cash Plan & Dental).
* Request terms from the market and existing providers.
* Use Excel to analyze market feedback, extracting data from bespoke databases and online platforms.
* Produce reports and recommendations to clients on products, employee onboarding, costs, and changes to products.
* Instruct insurers to proceed, including the relevant completion of forms.

Pay: £38,300.00-£45,024.00 per year
