Job Advert Role Description
**EXCITING NEW ROLE** Opening a bespoke specialised autism service Daffodil House is a new 9 bed Adult Care service opening in early 2025. It is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and will be a modern, top of the line residential service dedicated to achieving positive outcomes and enabling our residents to live their best lives.
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with autism and complex behaviours? We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to join our team, overseeing care services and ensuring the highest standards of support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The team will include a deputy manager, administrator, activities co-ordinator and a maintenance person
2. The manager will have support from a positive behaviour practitioner who will be based at the service
3. Lead and manage a team to deliver quality, person-centred care for individuals with autism and complex needs.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, supportive environment
5. Develop individualized care plans and implement best practices for behavioural support
6. Work closely with families, healthcare providers, and external agencies to optimize outcomes
Requirements:
7. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
8. Proven experience managing services for individuals with autism and complex behaviours
9. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to compassionate, inclusive care
