We now employ over 100 employees in our 87,000 square foot facility, ensuring we have the resources to deliver exceptional results on every project Due to continued growth we are seeking a highly motivated CAD / CAM Programmer Role Profile: The role is to produce high quality and dimensionally accurate engineering drawings and CNC programs for the manufacturing of sheet metal to client orders and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Create accurate CAD/CAM profiles in line with client’s requests/order. Create CNC programs using those profiles that promote efficiency in laser time, and savings in material. Create manufacture drawings for press, fabrication and assembly operations. Modify and update CAD/CNC where needed in a timely manner Ensure good housekeeping and drawing control of programs is maintained. Clearly communicate with clients about order requirements, remaining professional and approachable at all times. Create bill of material lists, that will be submitted to the purchasing team and used to ensure all components for an order have sufficient resources to be completed. Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes: A successful candidate will · Have a strong understanding of 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or TruTops · Have a strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes, and sheet metal developments. · Have a high proficiency in MS Office/Office365 products, specifically within Excel and Teams. · Preferably have experience with Trumpf CAM software, although this is not a requirement. A successful candidate should · Be able to remain focused and maintain concentration throughout a project’s lifecycle. · Be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail, and quality of work. · Have good communication skills, both internally with colleagues, and externally with clients. · Demonstrate an honest and positive attitude to work, with an accepting view on changes to procedure.
