CAF is undergoing a significant transformation programme of change to deliver the strategic vision of ‘A global digitally enabled platform for giving, connecting people to play their part’. The next phase of the programme turns the spotlight to implement new global systems, operating models, products and services to better meet the needs of customers and enable CAF to maximise opportunities for charitable giving, now and into the future.
You will apply industry-leading business analysis tools and techniques to projects, acting as the interface between the business and the technology teams.
We are seeking an ambitious business analyst with experience of Microsoft technologies to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT, business stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions.
What you’ll do
At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Business Analyst you too will play an integral part in what we do.
As our Business Analyst you will:
* Work with business teams, vendors and technology teams to elicit, prioritise and communicate the functional and non-functional requirements.
* Use the most appropriate tools and techniques to support the planning, analysis, development, testing, implementation and improvement of products and services.
* Contribute to project plans by helping to define the analysis approach and providing estimates for work packages.
* Create and maintain materials that reinforce the transition to the desired business outcomes.
* Quantify potential business benefits and contribute to business case development.
Business Process Optimisation
* Determine the ‘as-is’ state of business processes and develop the ‘to-be’ process models to demonstrate the impact of digital changes.
* Complete gap analysis of the existing business process catalogue and identify pain points and optimisation opportunities.
* Look for opportunities to make changes and recommendations to improve processes and encourage peers to do the same.
Who you’ll be
This role is for you if you have experience of working in large transformation programmes or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:
* A self-starter who is proactive and self-motivated, someone who takes responsibility and pride in their work.
* The ability to communicate at all levels in simplistic non-technical terms, and be comfortable challenging scope and validating requirements at all times to achieve accuracy.
* Experience in using a range of highly effective investigation techniques to identify, capture, analyse and validate requirements efficiently.
What’s in it for you
At CAF you will receive:
* Permanent hybrid ways of working where roles allow.
* Six weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
* A wide range of development opportunities to support personal and professional growth.
* Pension scheme with better-than-market employer contribution options.
* Social impact benefit schemes.
