Job summary The post holder will play a key role in managing and coordinating between BHT, the Medical Education Department, and personnel and students from Oxford University Medical School, St George's University, and University of Buckingham Medical School, as well as Physician Associates (PA) and Elective Placements (EP), ensuring high-quality medical education that meets both institutional and General Medical Council standards. The post holder must have significant experience in education management, be IT-proficient, self-directed, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, aligned with the Trust's CARE values, are crucial for managing relationships effectively. Main duties of the job Support medical students/PA/EPs to access educational opportunities and meet curriculum and GMC requirements. Manage and coordinate undergraduate medical teaching programs at BHT sites. Liaise with medical schools, tutors, and staff to ensure high-quality education and compliance with regulations. Monitor student attendance, placements, outcomes, and assessments. Maintain accurate databases and ensure up-to-date student information. Create and manage timetables for student rotations, teaching sessions, and exams. Coordinate meetings, inspections, and feedback sessions. Oversee student assessments, including OSCEs and logbooks. Manage budgets, procurement, and reporting related to undergraduate programs. Line manage and develop the undergraduate administrative team. Provide high-level project support, audits, and data analysis for quality assurance.
