We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Business Area: Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks - Major Projects
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the Major Projects team at HPC supporting the commercial functions delivery of a bespoke or part of a package of work on a nuclear licensed site.
Your day to day will include:
* Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost.
* Prepare monthly and final applications for payment.
* Placing and subsequent financial management of sub-contract agreements.
* Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, The financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques; Procurement strategy
* Accurately monitor, forecast and report project cost and value.
What we are looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you, if:
* Experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs
* Experience within the construction or civils industry with demonstrable track record of achievement
* Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
* Experience of developing & implementing procurement and contract strategies
