Job Description:

The shift pattern for this position is TBC.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stobhill Mental Health Inpatients for a Physiotherapy Team Lead. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of clinicians including Qualified and unqualified staff to deliver a comprehensive Physiotherapy Service to inpatients. You will be the main source of professional advice within inpatient wards and work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists and maintain professional links with the AHP Professional Lead.
You will:
* Require highly developed skills of communication, negotiation and motivation to appropriately influence the direction and delivery of the Mental Health Physiotherapy service.
* Work as an autonomous clinician and take full responsibility for a specific caseload and use expert clinical judgment to priorities patients with highly complex needs.
* Monitor service demand, activity and waiting times.
* Have a key role in workforce planning and be responsible for the delivery of specialist training/education and development of staff within the local service.
* As a leader you will contribute towards Policy development and implementation for Mental Health Physiotherapy services.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate via your post qualification experience evidence of audit and investigation skills in delivering clinically effective practice. You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent and be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council.
