We are looking for Class 1 and 2 HGV tipper drivers who want flexible hours. Shifts would include night work, day shifts and some weekends.
Work is predominantly in North and Mid Wales, Shropshire, West Midlands and the North West delivering aggregates to Heidelberg Materials sites and directly to clients.
The post is ideally suited to someone with experience driving HGVs and wants to work on a flexible basis as shifts cannot be guaranteed, typically there would be 3 night shifts / week and 2 weekends a month. Cover for drivers on leave rostered to work days (starting at 4am-6am) is also a requirement. Happy to recruit a number of bank drivers to meet this demand, so not all these shifts need to be covered.
Successful candidates will have a licence with 3 or fewer penalty points, no DD convictions and an up-to-date CPC Drivers Card. Ongoing CPC training is provided in working time.
