Consultant Specialist Abdominal Wall and Upper GI Surgeon

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Specialist Abdominal Wall and Upper GI Surgeon to join the Surgical Department at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust based at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH). The successful applicant will be expected to support the development of our specialist abdominal wall unit, which receives tertiary referrals from across the South West and Nationally, and the upper GI surgical department. It is essential that candidates have sub-specialty training in abdominal wall surgery, including advanced laparoscopic or robotic skills. The post will join a dynamic team that has expanded over recent years, including five colorectal consultants, four upper GI consultants, four emergency general surgical consultants and three breast consultants, providing care for patients at NDDH and across Community Hospitals.

Applicants must be fully registered with the General Medical Council with licence to practice and be eligible for inclusion on the GMCs Specialist Register (or expected entry within six months from the date of interview).
Working Pattern: 10 PA's
