Could you be Incommunities new Finance Projects Business Partner? We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join us on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2026 initially. This is an exciting time to join us, playing an integral role in the delivery of various projects across the business.

Duties
* Collaborate strategically with finance teams and business stakeholders to define project scopes, set clear and measurable objectives, and drive accountability for delivering high-performance outcomes.
* Provide end-to-end financial management and support for our programme of corporate projects, from feasibility studies, appraisals, budget development, variance reporting, and benefits realisation.
* Produce modelling and analysis to facilitate project appraisals, developing realistic and robust assumptions and measurable benefit expectations.
* Contribute to the management of multiple high-impact programmes within the organisation, ensuring all projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
* Develop and maintain robust project plans, clearly defining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and measurable results.
* Continuously identify and support process improvements and operational efficiencies, making strong, data-driven recommendations that enhance financial performance and contribute to ongoing success.
* Provide ongoing support and training to teams during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth transitions, optimising team performance, and guaranteeing effective project implementation.
* Act as a strategic negotiator and influencer, managing internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making, resolve challenges, and secure successful outcomes that align with organisational goals.
* Present complex financial data and project outcomes to senior leadership teams, including the Financial and Performance Hub, EMT, and other committees, ensuring clear, impactful communication of key results and strategic insights.
* Act as a Leader and mentor to support the finance team, and teams through the business, to develop a high-performing approach focused on delivering against key financial and operational targets.
About you
* Strong reporting and presentation skills, presenting complex financial data and project outcomes to senior colleagues.
* Proven ability to create and explain detailed financial appraisal models and to translate individual appraisals into our financial planning systems and processes (Brixx).
* Experience of stock rationalisation activity and supporting projects to boost capacity in organisations through strategic acquisition and divestment of assets.
* Experience in providing ongoing support and training to teams during the implementation phase.
* A strong understanding of financial reporting structures.
* Ability to handle large volumes of data, translating them into clear, actionable insights.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in housing with an understanding of Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs)
* Extensive experience in overseeing finance processes, with a proven track record in managing complex financial systems and large-scale projects.
* Proven success in working collaboratively with Asset Management and Property teams, and/or with ICT Teams and projects to drive impactful change and meet key financial targets.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure situations and ensure sound, data-driven decisions.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and accountability across the business.
* A proactive, adaptable, and delivery-focused approach, capable of driving high-performance results both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., SORP, FRS), with a proven ability to apply these standards across the organisation and anticipate changes that may impact operations.
* A financial qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (or working towards this), combined with strong project management capabilities. Project management certification is highly desirable.
