* The Strategic Programme Manager will oversee the delivery of the Adult Skills offer worth circa £108m per year, supporting the strategic priorities.
* Responsibilities include providing leadership, developing and monitoring project plans, ensuring governance, managing procurement, and overseeing quality outcomes. The role also involves managing commissioning rounds, implementing key strategic delivery, and ensuring accurate information on relevant platforms.
* The manager will guide staff, manage resources, and produce reports for governance meetings.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the development and delivery of Greater Manchester's Adult Skills offer, ensuring that funded provision is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the community. We need someone with exceptional programme management skills, a natural ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and a collaborative approach to working across different levels and areas of expertise within the GMCA.
Your experience in managing large, complex programmes, managing conflicting priorities, commissioning services, and working with diverse stakeholders will be key to your success. You’ll need to be a people person, able to communicate effectively, influence decision-makers, and drive results.
