The Role:
As a Pricing Analyst, you'll help improve and maintain our competitive price positioning. This hybrid Pricing Analyst role will allow you to enter the world of Pricing, working with large data sets and continuously looking for ways to offer our customers the best pricing whilst maximising profit for the business. You will support resolving pricing issues and margin challenges across the operational and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver daily, weekly and monthly processes and reports.
2. Capture, understand and resolve pricing and margin challenges across Operations, Sales, Commercial and suppliers.
3. Maintain regular contact with branches and sales managers to better understand the issues/challenges and resolve the issues with Operational teams.
4. Investigate data quality issues arising from exception reports or direct feedback.
5. Provide analytical support to maintain and improve margin and price perception positions.
6. Capture and action-track key shared activity between Commercial and Estimating to enable closer working relationships between departments.
7. Support in the development and delivery of new pricing frameworks, systems and processes.
8. Support any ad-hoc requests from Commercial, Operations and Sales colleagues.
This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, Northamptonshire.

Skills and Competencies:
1. Working with large data sets and a demonstrated history of working on pricing/commercial projects.
2. Experience working in a commercial department.
3. Good level of experience using Excel or Google Sheets.
4. Superb communication skills both written and verbal.
5. Methodical with strong attention to detail.
