Position Responsibilities:
* Review design packages for electrical systems and equipment, including drawings, datasheets, and preliminary cost estimates.
* Prepare the Project Design Basis Document as per the project scope.
* Prepare project load lists based on the project scope.
* Produce technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment.
* Assist in electrical activities of engineering, procurement, and construction contractors during the design phase.
* Coordinate with Project Managers to finalize the Electrical Engineering scope.
* Carry out analysis of major equipment selected in the design package.
* Review and respond to technical and site queries.
* Monitor and review contractor performance and work quality.
* Ensure design compliance with client standards and regulations.
* Assist Project Managers in evaluating Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations.
* Review and evaluate Change Orders for compliance.
* Work closely with Engineering Teams to ensure facility integrity in terms of HSE.
* Provide technical assurance for electrical discipline deliverables.
* Recommend improvement solutions for installations or modifications.
* Good knowledge of Power system automation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Certified Engineer desirable.
* Extensive experience in design, engineering, and construction.
* Familiarity with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international standards.
* Familiarity with analogue and digital control systems, including PSA, DCS, PLC, and SCADA controls.
* Thorough knowledge of the English language for analysis, presentations, and technical advancements.
* Extensive experience in a senior role managing large projects.
* Experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software.
