Role Overview:
Accountable for setting the strategy and direction of the SIEM delivery team, in line with Secure Development and Interstellar programme goals. Build and lead a high performing team of engineers capable of responding rapidly to the changing security landscape. Be a leader within the Software Engineering community in Birmingham - driving collaboration and sharing of best practices. Be an active member of the Secure Development senior team implementing the strategic direction of the unit.

Experience Required for the Role
Mandatory:
1. Experienced manager (3 years+) of a software delivery team of 6+
2. Delivery management of software projects (3 years +)
3. Strong project governance (reporting, communications, risk management) skills
Preferred:
1. SIEM or similar cyber security tool development
2. Elastic search design/development skills
3. Delivery of security tooling
4. Agile delivery
