JOB DESCRIPTION:
Due to continued business growth, we are now looking to recruit experienced free hand rail fabricators.
ROLE:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the following:
* Welding and fabricating stairlift products from technical drawings using free build, MIG & TIG weld and fabrication methods of assembly;
* Working to standardised methods and to the company’s tolerances and guidelines;
* Working safely at all times following work instructions and maintaining a clean working environment;
* Embracing our ‘Zero Harm’ approach to safety;
* Working efficiently to produce high-quality products;
* Contributing to our Continuous Improvement approach and actively helping to reduce waste in our processes;
* Undertake other duties if necessary, i.e., operating laser cutting or bending machines where required (training will be provided).
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidates must be positive and enthusiastic and support a ‘can do’ attitude;
* Candidate should have a Welding Fabricator Certificate and/or at least 5 years of experience;
* Candidates must be reliable and support a continuous improvement culture;
* Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas;
* Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated;
* Able to use electric hand tools, grinders;
* Able to read and understand drawings;
* Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and can maintain a safe and clean working environment.
