You will be responsible for implementing and managing IT infrastructure, driving technical projects, and seeking areas for improvement in processes, technologies, and tools. Monitoring infrastructure health, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues, and apply security best practices to address identified threats. Additionally, you will: - Support the achievement of company and department objectives - Troubleshoot and fix infrastructure and application issues - Monitor both local and cloud-based infrastructure health About You To be considered as an Infrastructure Engineer, you will need: - Experience in an infrastructure role - Networking and security experience - Server and Desktop Virtualisation experience (Hyper-V or VMware) - Strong experience managing Microsoft infrastructure - Experience with and administration of systems and software such as: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Win 10, VSphere, Hyper-V, and Nix - Knowledge of SaaS - An understanding of cloud environments - Good communication skills Other organisations may call this role IT Infrastructure Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or IT Systems Engineer.
