Breakfast and After School Club Manager
Location: S25, Sheffield
Starting: ASAP
You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Working hours: 22.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 7:30am - 9am AND 3pm - 6pm)
Job Overview: We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Manager who can lead and provide a range of play-based activities for children aged 3 to 11 years old in our breakfast and afterschool club at Anston Brook Primary School, S25. The ideal candidate will have management experience or be a supervisor ready to take their next step in leadership.
Accountabilities:
1. Ensure all planning is up to date and supports the children's interests.
2. Liaise with parents daily.
3. Address parent complaints promptly and follow the correct procedures.
4. Ensure that planning is in place for the week ahead.
5. Maintain all equipment in a tidy and safe condition.
6. Promote the club positively at all times.
7. Work independently and find solutions for local problems.
8. Understand the role of designated health and safety officer.
9. Keep all notice boards up to date.
10. Ensure children have access to appropriate activities that support their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development, considering families' ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, and adhere to the School Club’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
11. Manage difficult children effectively.
12. Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children.
