To find out more take a look at Your New Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Project Planner is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring the Billable Works annual and future years projects programme, for multiple home and estate improvements projects across the MOD Service Family Accommodation. Ensure timely and highly accurate input for all project updates, and oversight of project delivery for financial forecasting purposes. To maintain complete overview of the full programme from inception through to project delivery, escalate emerging risks to the programme, schedule the internal resources and undertake all reporting. Manage the requests process for new projects, maintaining the ‘Service Register’ of future projects, and working with the Asset Manager to undertake data analysis to assist in creating future programmes of work, known as the Forward Additional Service Programme (FASP). Work closely with the client, Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), the Amey Pre-construction, Commercial and Operational Management teams providing reporting information and KPI measurement data. This Opportunity is remote however Full Driving License is essential and ability and willingness to travel across the contract. You will be responsible for: Oversee and manage the projects programme, documenting the project process from inception, preconstruction & approvals, through to project completion. Ensuring accurate and timely updating of project updates. Reporting and data analysis function. Regular progress reporting for budgetary purposes, Contract KPI’s (monthly and quarterly), management meetings. FASP – annual program to be established for delivery within predetermined Client financial periods. Manage Service Register for future project requests. Work closely with the Preconstruction Manager to program site surveys and maintain pace for the preparation of projects, and the Procurement Manager achieve client commercial approval of project works, such they may be delivered by the Area Teams Identify budgetary, resource and program issues that need to be addressed. Work with the Asset Management team, actively inform the future works programs (FASP) Confer with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and Amey Operational teams to agree priorities of Billable Works projects on a regular basis. Support management in providing optimal solutions to client requirements Understand operational priorities of the client, develop and maintain close working and effective relationships with DIO. Work closely with our ecologist to develop programming solutions to meet the ecological timing constraints as set out by the ecologist. Liaise with the local Amey Operations team to ensure site updates are fully communicated through the programme and reporting updates. Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication to ensure project value limits are not exceeded. Work closely with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk. Contribute to the production of Forward Asset Service Plan (FASP) What makes this role unique is the opportunity to maintain full, accurate, ownership of the Billable Works projects programme. Report Performance and Risk to the Contract Manager, continually improving reporting through Power Bi or similar. Undertake data analytics to develop and prioritise programmes of works. Work closely with our ecologist to develop programming solutions to meet the ecological timing constraints as set out by the ecologist. Develop future years programmes of works.
