We are seeking an enthusiastic and reflective Religious Studies Teacher to join a Humanities Faculty. The successful candidate will foster critical thinking, respectful debate, and a deep understanding of world religions, philosophy, and ethics. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:
* Teach Religious Studies across KS3/KS4/KS5, using a creative and inclusive approach
* Develop students' understanding of religious beliefs, moral issues, and cultural perspectives
* Create a respectful classroom culture that encourages open discussion and enquiry
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental enrichment activities
Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:
* QTS and a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for exploring diverse worldviews
* Committed to promoting values of tolerance, empathy, and social awareness
* Effective classroom management and the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities
