Morson are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters for their site in Portsmouth shipyard. It is a 12 month contract with starts subject to security clearance,. If you are looking for a new start this is the role for you It is a standard 37 hours a week with a possibility of overtime. Rates Below: Local - PAYE - £19.40 Non Local - PAYE - £27.40 Key Roles • Machinery and Plant installation • Levelling and Laser alignment of mechanical equipment • Torque of Equipment- Tightening to a certain degree • Working to tight tolerance with equipment • Dimensional controls equipment e.g laser measuring devices • Drilling and tapping of holes • Marking off • Jig Fabrication • Working with Hydraulics If you would be interested please can you send your CV and certificates ideally an apprenticeship to (url removed) You can also call me on (phone number removed) to discuss further
