Salary: £22,383 per annum
Please note if you commence in post prior to October 2024, you will be paid in line with 2023/2024 agenda for change pay scales.

Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
1. Work in close co-operation with the Clinical Coders and other members of the department in order to meet standards of care.
2. Retrieve case notes from the wards and ensures that all relevant information is available in relation to clinical coding.
3. Dispatch case notes to other departments / health records as appropriate.
4. Use of Lorenzo system.
5. Run reports from PAS or reporting services and distribute to relevant people
6. Track case notes in and out of the office.
7. Answer telephone queries and act on and pass on to relevant person.
8. Liaise with other members of staff outside the department.
9. Act as first point of contact for visitors to the office.
10. Inputting Outpatient coding onto Lorenzo.
11. Inputting A&E coding onto Lorenzo.
12. Helping with Data Quality administration and inputting data.
13. Cover duties of other members within the department in their absence as appropriate
