Smart Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated History & Politics Teacher to join a well-established and high-achieving secondary school in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to teach History across KS3-KS5 and Politics at KS5 in a dynamic and supportive department.
The Role:
1. Full-time Teacher of History & Politics, delivering engaging and rigorous lessons
2. Teach History from KS3 to KS5 and Politics at A-Level
3. Inspire and challenge students through innovative teaching methods
4. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring excellent outcomes
5. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
6. Support and engage students in debates, research projects, and wider learning opportunities
7. Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to enhance student achievement
Requirements:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
2. Has experience teaching History across KS3-KS5 and Politics at A-Level
3. Is passionate about fostering critical thinking, debate, and academic curiosity
4. Has a track record of strong classroom management and engaging lesson delivery
5. Works well within a collaborative and supportive department
6. Is keen to contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
