Your Role We’re looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead our warehouse and logistics team, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the seamless movement of materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role is essential to optimising warehouse layout and safety, improving stock traceability, and upholding our high food safety standards. Location: This role will be based in Sandwich with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, technical teams, and warehouse operatives, playing a key role in driving performance, maintaining compliance, and fostering continuous improvement. As part of this role, you’ll be expected to stand tall—delivering results with integrity and accountability. Who you’ll be working with You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative operations team, supervising logistics and warehouse staff while working cross-functionally with production, quality, and technical teams. Together, you’ll ensure our products move safely and efficiently through every stage of the process. What you’ll be doing A typical day may involve working in the following areas, carrying out key warehouse and logistics functions: Warehouse & Logistics Operations Conduct culverdocs MHE safety checks, reporting any defects, top up batteries after charging. Manage day-to-day warehouse activity, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and efficient space usage, Supervise waste transfers and recycling processes, including use of compactors and balers. Maintain accurate stock control and carry out regular inventory checks. Organise and optimise primary packaging supply on a FIFO basis. Oversee MHE operations, ensuring safe handling of goods in and out. Communicate all customer order requests for the morning toolbox meeting and discuss discrepancies or supply issues with the operations manager Stock Management & Quality Conduct weekly stock checks and verify usage against inventory. Report any shortages, damage, or discrepancies, and manage replenishment requests. Ensure quality standards are met and traceability is maintained. Ensure paperwork is accurate and submitted in a timely fashion. Manage all ERP (Prophet) entries to ensure the system reflects all movements and traceability. Despatch & Post Room Supervision Manage the despatch of finished products, ensuring compliance with temperature and hygiene standards. Supervise post room deliveries and support administrative stock adjustments. Liaise with Prophet Administrator to provide documentation and batch information. Cross-functional Support & Safety Leadership Provide support to other operational areas, including High Care, as needed. Carry out equipment startup checks, report issues on CMMS, and ensure MHE is used correctly. Implement safe working practices, including red light protocols and forklift procedures. Monitor and address environmental factors (ice, snow, high winds) impacting logistics. What skills you should have We’re looking for someone who is deep rooted, passionate about people, the planet, and (of course) leafy greens, someone who thrives in a collaborative and purpose driven environment. Must have skills: Team Leadership – Experience leading teams in warehouse or logistics settings, ideally in food production. Attention to Detail – High accuracy in paperwork, quality checks, and traceability documentation. Health & Safety Focus – Strong understanding of safety and food safety requirements in a production setting. Nice to have skills: Experience with MHE & Forklift Operations – Including safety checks, loading protocols, and SOP adherence. Familiarity with CMMS & Inventory Systems – Comfortable logging issues and maintaining stock control digitally. What success looks like in this role 3 months in – You’ve embedded yourself in the team, taken charge of daily operations, and streamlined key warehouse functions. 6 months in – You’ve enhanced warehouse efficiency, improved traceability, and implemented better safety practices. 12 months in – You’ve driven measurable improvement in logistics performance and contributed to the strategic growth of operations.
