Behaviour Specialist – Secondary Schools (Liverpool)
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Salary: £85 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome behavioural challenges? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Specialist to work in secondary schools across Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need extra support.
The Role:
1. Work closely with students who present challenging behaviour, helping them engage positively with learning.
2. Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
3. Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
4. Assist teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
5. Liaise with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour (e.g., in schools, alternative provisions, youth work, or social care).
2. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
3. A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
