The General X-Ray and Fluoroscopy department at Eastbourne District General hospital supports 15 pieces of X-Ray, Interventional, and fluoroscopic equipment on a single acute site.
Our aim is to provide high quality diagnostic support to patients referred from our clinical/non-medical referrer colleagues.
The department supports a 24 hour acute service, working closely with A+E, Outpatients and In-patient referrers, as well as supporting GP colleagues in Primary care.
The role supports 33 staff within the department as well as working closely with other multidisciplinary partners.
The main duties of the job are:
• Direct clinical support
• Developing and supporting governance structures
• HR support
• Rostering
• Driving quality improvements through an active QSI programme
• Induction and training of new staff
