Our beautiful location offers great opportunities for learning and we benefit from an excellently resourced school, at the heart of a caring, supportive community.
Lunnasting Primary School is a non-denominational school located in Vidlin. It provides nursery to P7 education for children from Vidlin and surrounding areas. The structure of the school is 1 nursery class and 2 composite primary classes. There are currently 36 pupils in the school and 12 pupils in the nursery. The school is managed by a teaching Head Teacher. The current Head Teacher is Ms Laura Tulloch. If you would like any further information please get in touch with the school on .

* Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.6669 per hour
* This post is for 35 hours per week, 28 hours per week are permanent and 7 hours per week are temporary until 06 January 2026
* Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
* You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) prior to starting in post
