The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Trainer to join our well-respected IT team in our Yeovil office. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT training and engaging with learners at all levels to deliver meaningful and impactful training sessions for our current employees and new joiners. This is a newly created role as we see continued growth across the firm, which will support the IT Training Lead and Head of IT with the design and delivery of engaging and comprehensive training for our IT systems and will include training administration and project work. The Role Will Entail The Following Delivering training modules, including the new joiner Induction program, either in person - at any of our offices, or online using Microsoft Teams. Working with the training lead to design face-to-face or eLearning training modules to support the Firms IT strategy for existing and new applications. Design, create and publish training support materials including quick guides, videos, eLearning, and news articles on the Firms intranet. Reviewing and revising training materials to ensure they are up-to-date following updates to our products and applications. Schedule training modules, book meeting rooms and prepare resources for regular training events and new product rollouts and/or upgrades. Prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate. Assist with first line support regarding enquiries relating to the computer systems and applications when required. Log, allocate and monitor call progress in the Helpdesk system. Undertake any additional duties which from time to time may be requested. About You Working closely with the fee earners across the business, this role would best suit someone who is proactive and enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in IT and IT training ideally in a legal or professional services environment. Coordination or support Previous experience of coordination or support of training delivery would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
