About The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Coordinator (Research) to support the delivery of research activities at SELCS.
In this role, you will manage financial and administrative duties for research projects, collaborate with academic staff, and support postgraduate research programmes.
It’s an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial management, project coordination, and academic administration within a dynamic environment.
About You
We’re seeking someone with strong administrative and financial management skills, particularly in the context of research administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing budgets and overseeing financial reporting for research projects.
You’ll be comfortable working independently and balancing multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines efficiently. You’ll also need excellent communication skills to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, funders, and colleagues across the university. Attention to detail is crucial, and you must be comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is essential, and a willingness to learn new IT systems is key.
