We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of educators. Duties
1. Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
3. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
4. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
5. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incidents as required by regulatory bodies.
6. Ensure the nursery is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
7. Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills in early childhood education and childcare practices.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
3. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
4. A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in nursery management.
5. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided to children.
6. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
7. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
