Join our Materials and Production Planning team As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems offshore team based in Newcastle UK you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. Partner with the best As Production Scheduler (d//f/m) You will oversee the fulfillment of all manufacturing orders and material flow. You will also identify any potential risks and mitigate any production downtime. This role has the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals. As Production Scheduler (d/f/m), you will be responsible for: Production-Controlling for the short term schedule and supporting all departments in order to minimize loss of time in Manufacture. Executing the Master Production Schedule for material allocation and material readiness Reporting operation on-time performance and coordinating root cause and corrective actions with Shop Operations Leaders Coordinating the efforts to resolve bottlenecks, machine maintenance, staffing issues, tools, programs, and shop capacity that impact schedules. Ensuring appropriate raw material is in stock; minimize QC hold, blend off, and facilitate return of materials. Taking ownership of the manufacturing time due to material availability or manufacturing order availability and material availability to meet the MPS. Allocating of material for product manufacture. Given “Instruction to Pick” to the Warehouse team. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Higher National Certificates (HNCs) or equivalent years of work experience in similar fields Have proven experience in Planning or Manufacturing environment Have a decent planning background with awareness of MRP/ERP systems (Oracle Pascal/ASCP). Have good knowledge of Engineering BOM structures. Have an APICS certificate or you are on the journey to become certified. Demonstrate willingness to make independent decisions and taking on responsibilities across functions and team boundaries. Focused on building relationships with others. Be self-organized and self-motivated with a willingness to work within a group or individually in a multi discipline environment. Have excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills and proficiency Microsoft office skills.
