Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Mold. This is night trunking with start times between 1700 - 1900. This is ongoing work for the right candidate, who must pass an assessment prior to starting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Pay rates PAYE
* £16.00/h nights
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* £17.93/h nights
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* Minimum of 12 months experience in general haulage
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
