What will you do?
This is a management role, overseeing 6 team members and reporting to the Global Controller in the US.
1. Responsible for completion of month end accounting and reconciliation
2. Responsible for statutory reporting and regulatory requirements
3. Lead Revenue department focused on billing and collections
4. Supporting Global Controller on Business and Organizational strategy
Main Responsibilities
Accounting
1. Leading the completion of period end accounts including month end, quarter end and year end
2. Statutory reporting and consolidation for all UK companies
3. Completion of VAT and other regulatory returns
4. Group reporting and consolidation to parent company
5. Support Revenue team focused on billing and revenue recognition
6. Assist Finance with understanding revenue trends and cash forecasting
7. Looking at current processes and procedures, recommending and documenting any improvements that can be made
8. Review Netsuite systems recommending and documenting any enhancements
Legal and Regulatory
1. Providing support to tax partners on legal and regulatory
Privacy
1. Providing support to the FD on data privacy requirements
2. Attending training, listening to guidance & communications and other resources to understand responsibilities in relation to the processing and protection of Personal Information and comply with the CPOMS Privacy Policy
3. Identifying risks and the regulatory requirements relating to Personal Information processed and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate and manage them
Other
1. Responsible for behaving in a manner that supports the Company values and being a great role model

What do you need to succeed?
1. ACA / ACCA qualified accountant
2. Ideally from a practice background with industry experience
3. Big4 or Top 10 trained, candidates for smaller firms possibly considered if they have an outstanding academic background and experience
4. Degree level educated - 1 or above preferred
5. Experience of relevant financial operating systems essential with Sage 50 and NetSuite experience particularly advantageous
6. Advanced Excel skills
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
The job holder is required to carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Finance Director.
