As our next Legal Counsel, you’ll play a critical role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of legal documents such as distribution agreements, marketing, sales, and procurement contracts. You will provide advice to the commercial teams on contracts to ensure Premier Foods is protected to the best extent possible.
The position requires a professional and proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving working environment. Collaborating with experts in various fields, you will manage daily Legal Counsel work across Commercial Law, Marketing and Advertising, Compliance, and Intellectual Property.
Working in a fun yet professional and well-respected team, you will gain experience in both domestic and international markets.
You should demonstrate initiative and be able to take a hands-on approach to your work. Interacting with internal colleagues, external suppliers, and key stakeholders, you must be able to multitask effectively. Your attention to detail and high standards will be valued in this role.
The Key Requirements...
1. Admitted as a solicitor in England (or an equivalent international qualification) (ideally NQ-4 PQE)
2. Must thrive and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment
3. Must act in a professional manner at all times
4. Must be proactive, show initiative, with a hands-on attitude
5. Must be able to multi-task and instinctively be able to deal with a wide range of contacts (internal colleagues, external suppliers, key stakeholders)
6. You will be someone who has high standards and attention to detail and who continually seeks a better way to do things
7. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
