Our EdTech business is growing and we’re looking for someone to provide administrative and basic finance support to the business. The individual involved would be working directly with the CEO and Head of Product and Operations on identified projects and liaising with people across the business as necessary.
Our expectation is that the role will require up to 15 hours of work per week initially, but this will likely taper down to 7.5 hours per week. Details of this would be discussed with the preferred provider and managed dynamically.
Finance Responsibilities:
1. Gathering invoices and receipts for submission to Xero
2. Managing all accounts/finance email inquiries
3. Credit Control
4. Management of supplier invoices
5. Management of sales invoices
6. Updating and managing finance aspects in CRM
Administrative Responsibilities:
1. General business administration
2. Office Point of Contact
3. Keeping registers up to date (e.g., devices, contracts, staff, etc.)
Systems Responsibilities:
1. Supporting systems integration activities
2. Process building and management
The intensity and variety of work will fluctuate depending on the priorities of the business.
