This position reports to:
Sales Manager R&A
Your role and responsibilities:
1. Business Development for robotic welding in a national role within the UK.
2. Defining and implementing the sales strategy and budget to a defined list of customers, as well as developing new customers, working with the Sales Manager and the Channel Manager.
3. Ensuring regular contact with existing and new customers.
4. Working to personal and business targets set for each financial year, contributing to a team target.
5. Negotiating on specifications and pricing while maintaining maximum margins for ABB.
6. Identifying and evaluating new potential systems integrators and OEMs, working with the Channel Manager and Sales management team.
7. Maintaining and growing existing geographical customers.
8. Maintaining the highest level of engagement with existing and new customers as part of the ABB QCE (Quality Customer Experience) program.
9. Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal teams.
10. Identifying and managing risks relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels/segments.
11. Working alongside peers in the team, with personal development as part of the annual appraisal process.
12. Proposing and supporting marketing campaigns (digital/physical) in the country working with local UK & Ireland marketing.
13. Being the ambassador for ABB Robotics by attending and developing events/fairs/open houses as directed by the UK & Ireland Sales Manager.
Qualifications for the role:
* Team player - this role has a high degree of collaboration.
* Considerable experience in sales or engineering.
* Welding process knowledge is required.
* Experience of robots is required.
* Knowledge of Manufacturing, especially utilization of jigs and fixtures is required.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Current driving license.
