We are delighted to announce an opening for a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE D&C) in our Rail Civils division. Our team is seeking an accomplished and motivated professional ready to contribute to pioneering rail infrastructure projects across the UK.
Your Impact
As the Contractor's Responsible Engineer, your role will be pivotal in ensuring engineering excellence and safety compliance across all phases of rail civil works. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the design and construction processes to meet contractual and regulatory obligations efficiently and safely.
* Reviewing and approving all technical submissions related to civil engineering aspects.
* Ensuring the integration of sustainable practices throughout all project stages.
* Mentoring and developing junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Ideal Candidates
We are looking for individuals who not only meet the technical qualifications but also fit our culture and values:
* Proven experience in rail engineering or a related field, with a background in design and construction processes.
* An enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
* A passion for implementing and promoting environmentally sustainable practices in engineering projects.
Key qualifications include a degree in Civil Engineering or similar, and Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation is desirable.
