Stirling Council are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Finance Team Leader to join our Finance team. As the Finance Team Leader for Corporate Accounting, you will help provide managerial, operational and strategic leadership for the team, develop and deliver key functional areas and support the Finance Business Partner in providing sound stewardship and effective financial management of the Council’s resources. Key responsibilities will include annual accounts, asset register and capital, treasury management, VAT and financial systems. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with post qualification experience and continued professional development in these key areas and will also be able to demonstrate experience of delivering professional financial support services, and experience of leading a team of finance staff at a senior level. Experience of Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.
