We are seeking a dedicated Lead Nurse to join our Bladder and Bowel Service, offering expert care and leadership in managing patient needs. The Lead Nurse will be pivotal in overseeing and delivering high-quality care and coordinating the service. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership to ensure excellent service delivery and patient outcomes. The Bladder and Bowel Service is managed by Suffolk GP Federation, a not-for-profit organisation committed to ensuring comprehensive care for those with incontinence issues. Main duties of the job Lead and manage the Bladder and Bowel Service, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to patients with bladder, bowel, and continence issues. Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for a caseload of patients. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care in both clinic and home settings. Provide expert clinical guidance and leadership to nursing associates, healthcare support workers, and other team members. Support and empower patients and carers to develop self-management skills, promoting independence and well-being. Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the service, using data and feedback to drive service development.
