Conveyancing Assistant (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week)
Seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to support a Conveyancer in managing client files and ensuring smooth case progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative & Case Support: Open files, compile contract papers, draft legal documents, and handle file closures.
* Client & Third-Party Liaison: Communicate with clients, estate agents, and solicitors, handle new business enquiries, and provide quotes.
* Compliance & Case Management: Assist with AML/KYC checks, request searches, prepare completion statements, submit SDLT returns, and manage HM Land Registry requisitions.
* Financial & Completion Tasks: Process payments, handle exchange of contracts, and generate bills.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary.
* Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and legal protocols.
* Strong MS Office skills, organisational abilities, and a professional telephone manner.
