About the Role
The Higher Education Blended Learning department is actively recruiting an experienced Lecturer in Business related disciplines. This post will play an integral part of our Blended programme provision which consists of a suite of Pearson Higher Nationals and BSc Top up Degrees delivered predominantly in partnership with sports academies.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a progressive, learner-focused department that places innovative teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of their professional practice. For this role, you will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within your specialist areas of business-related disciplines inclusive of Leadership and Management, Business Strategy, and Marketing Processes and Planning.
You will also have the ability to contribute towards the delivery and assessment of Qualitative/Quantitative Research Methods as well as the supervision of student research projects within the HND programme. Knowledge and experience of delivering HNC / HND programmes would also be an advantage. The post may require travel throughout the UK to support our Blended students within sporting academy premises.
You will have a commitment to student-centered learning with experience of teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research, and/or experience as an applied practitioner. Experience of delivering blended learning programmes using virtual learning environments is an advantage. To be successful, you will have a Masters in a relevant Business related discipline and a good honours degree that is relevant to the post along with teaching experience in HE.
