Robert Half are currently partnered with a rapid-growth multi-entity business in Northampton who require an interim Technical Accountant for the next 4 months. This contract is focused on migrating one of the company's key business units from Sage 50 to Sage 200. This is a 3-4 month contract starting ASAP and offered outside of IR35 on a day rate of 500-600 per day dependent on experience. The role is based in Northampton 4 days per week, with day available as WFH. Daily responsibilities Head up the planning and execution stages of the migration project Manage quality of data migration Review current processes and implement new workflows to improve procedures and optimize output from new system Act as a strong business partner to the IT and finance teams Identify issues and implement required solutions to the migration process Experience required Candidates must be a fully qualified accountant with at least 6 years PQE Candidates are required to showcase extensive experience and understanding of various Sage packages Technical accounting background is highly advantageous Evidence of working in similar projects for similarly sized organisations Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
