You will be responsible for identifying customer enquiries promptly and proactively, obtaining and verifying information and documents, using all available resources and information to determine the appropriate response or to triage, signpost and refer support requests to relevant services, both internal and external to the council. You will be great at helping people and working under pressure, sensitively supporting customers from all backgrounds. The ability to work accurately is paramount and ideally you will have previous customer service experience and good negotiation skills, which is a key part of the role.
