University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust
Are you looking for a challenge to gain knowledge and experience of the core areas of complex discharges on a Community Delayed Discharge Ward?
Here on Ward 5 at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurses who will deliver high-quality patient care and thrive on the opportunities this post offers. Community health care is changing and fast developing, and it is an exciting time to be a part of Ward 5!
The world population is ageing, and we are all familiar with the challenges of meeting the needs of the growing number of older people here at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. We all work tirelessly to ensure the right care and support services are in place when people need them.
It's important to celebrate longevity, and it is equally vital that longevity is coupled with an excellent quality of life and a sense of personal and social well-being. Thus, our vision for our patients is that they should live long and healthy lives, enjoying an active, fulfilling, and independent existence in which the ageing process becomes a positive rather than a negative experience.

This will be in line with local, Trust-wide, and national policies, procedures, values, and behaviours.
