Job summary Wirral Integrated Respiratory Service. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exercise physiologist with an interest in managing patients with respiratory health problems to join a progressive, award winning multi-disciplinary specialist team. The successful candidate will have a specialised clinical role within respiratory services which involves assessment and management of patients with different respiratory conditions. Furthermore the role will involve prescribing exercise for a variety of respiratory conditions. Main duties of the job Provide delivery of a successful Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme across the Wirral and evaluate good outcomes. Maintaining high standards of practice within the team are fundamental aspects of the post The role also has the possibility of future collaboration with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service. Travel across sites within an hospital setting as well as community venues where the programmes are delivered is expected.
