Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Someone who takes pride in everything they do. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while supervising the kitchen.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook quality dishes in accordance with the company menu and standards.
2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations.
3. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Skills
1. Strong knowledge of food production.
2. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations in a kitchen environment.
3. Proven experience in a restaurant setting, demonstrating ability to work under pressure.
4. Excellent team management skills with experience supervising kitchen staff.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments within the hospitality industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
