As we look to build future resilience and a talent pipeline within the Anglian Water Strategic Alliances, we are introducing our first Project Delivery Training School to ensure we can continue to deliver to our 7 million customers across the region for years to come and shape the future.
Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and launch a long-lasting career in industry-leading alliances working collaboratively with Anglian Water to clean water to customers?
If so, we have opportunities for a cohort of individuals to attend our Project Delivery Training School in Peterborough starting April on a 10-week programme. You’ll work towards becoming either a Trainee Project Coordinator, Trainee Cost Capture or Trainee Planner which will enable you to take the step on this pivotal career ladder and explore our countless opportunities.
The best part ... you do not need any earlier experience as full training will be provided by our talented, supportive team. You’ll also have reassurance of a job guarantee following the programme upon successful completion of the training.
What will you be doing in our Training School?
Within our Training School, you’ll gain an understanding of who we, how we work and why we do what we do. This opportunity is not only a chance for us to understand if you are right for us, but also for you to assess if we are the right organisation for your next career step.
In addition, whilst on the 10-week programme you can expect:
1. To learn and understand what our values and behaviours are
2. To be paid annualised salary of £24k during the training whilst gaining on the job experience and knowledge
3. Begin to gain an understanding of supporting our Project delivery and how you can fit in
4. Understand and begin to develop the key skills needed for project delivery
How does the Training School work?
Based in Peterborough, our Training School is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for their next career step. During this training school, you’ll be paid for your time. If you are currently claiming Job Seekers Allowance, please contact your Job Centre Advisor to ensure your benefits are not affected should you not be successful and need to claim following this 10-week programme.
On successful completion of the 10-week programme, you’ll join one of our project teams on a permanent basis and where your career takes you, is within your gift!
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….
We don’t expect individuals to have all the skills and experience from day one for these roles. If you are enthusiastic, organised, motivated, can work within a team and can communicate well – this project delivery career path could be the perfect route for you. As for the rest…we’ll teach you!
A full, clean driving license is preferred, but not essential.
If this sounds like the career opportunity you’ve been waiting for, please apply today!
