We have a Part-time opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join our friendly team. Hours of work: Monday – Wednesday, 8.30am – 4.30pm. Initial training to take place Wednesday – Friday The role As Clinical Administrator, you will work as part of a small team assisting the clinicians and performing all administrative activities to maintain and develop an efficient and effective administrative service for the centre. Key duties. Providing reception service for patients at the centre Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional and helpful manner Effectively communicating service criteria to patients, families, carers, Allied Health Professionals and clinical staff. Managing appointments, referrals and maintaining patient records Monitoring waiting lists and liaising with clinicians regarding clinic availability and appointments to manage waiting times Triaging telephone calls and managing requests in an auditable and efficient manner. Ordering stock identified by wheelchair clinicians, raising requisitions, liaising with suppliers, chasing orders and updating systems Inputting referrals Booking out and managing items for telephone triage patients and ensuring maintenance of appropriate records Liaising with NHS services and the wheelchair repair provider (Ross Care) in a professional manner as required. Ensuring all goods received for the service are processed in a timely and effective manner Taking minutes of team meetings as requested Assisting in management reports and data collection.
